Forbrydelsen III poster
In the 6th episode of Borgen (season 3), Søren Ravn (Lars Mikkelsen) defends himself, as everyone is accusing him of having been a KGB spy. TV 1’s journalists think it would be interesting if Benedikte Nedergaard (Marie Askehave) from the Freedom party made her appearance as well, due to her personality and the fact that she doesn’t believe in Ravn’s perspective of the story. Hmm… If a Forbrydelsen fan who didn’t speak danish and forgot that one of the two journalists, Torben Friis, was Søren Malling (Jan Mayer) [which is almost impossible] and watched that scene, would think that Borgen was a sequel to Forbrydelsen! What I mean is that Søren Ravn and Benedikte Nedergaard had a real argument. It was as if Troels Hartmann and Rie Skovgård didn’t share the same opinions on a political issue, 5 - 6 years after their break up. So, was this scene absolutely necessary? Couldn’t it be omitted (taking into consideration that Benedikte Nedergaard hadn’t made her appearance earlier that episode) ?
The best team: Lund and Meyer
Forbrydelsen was aired in 2007. Borgen was broadcast 3 years later, in 2010. Now, it is 2013, 3 years after Borgen’s airing. So, if it is a 3-3 matter, Denmark should create a new Nordic Noir TV Series hit this year! Denmark, I am waiting!!!
